About Mini Mel
"Mini Mel" — later known simply as Blaze — is a son of Int'l Ch. KissMe Mellow Joy and Int'l Ch. Tagalongs KissMe With Cinnamon, born January 12, 2007, one of three boys in the Mel × Cindi litter. He earned his baby nickname because, as a puppy, he looked just like his dad in miniature.
Living with Nancy and Samba
He now lives with Nancy and Samba in San Jose, CA.
Seven Weeks Old
Mini Mel rests up so he can take his turn pinning Butternut to the ground!
Six Weeks Old
It was not easy getting Mini Mel to pose for this. I walked back and forth until he got tired of following me and just sat down and looked at me like I was nuts!
Five Weeks Old
We call this little boy "Mini Mel" because he looks so much like his Dad! The puppies are inside and outside now — exploring their new world. This is my favorite age!!
Three Weeks Old
The black boy was first to growl and bark, very aware of what was going on in the room around him. The red boy was the smallest of the three and already trying to play. The red merle boy was the biggest and the most relaxed!
