8 weeks old — full of life and ready to go to his new family.

5–6 Weeks Old

These pictures are midway between 5 and 6 weeks old. We are going in and out the doggie door, running and wrestling, chasing leaves and splashing in puddles. CERF exams are scheduled for March 3 — ten puppies in the car for a two-hour drive! Physicals and shots are on March 5. Puppies can go home after that!

4 Weeks Old

At 4 weeks old we are pouncing, prancing, prowling, growling, barking, sniffing, licking, chasing, exploring, and enjoying life! Out in the indoor/outdoor kennel we have a big space where we can run around to our heart's content. We are still too little to go out the doggie door into the yard, but we went on a couple of yard outings last weekend. We also had a visit from two little boys around age 10 — we all hopped right out of our bed and ran over and proceeded to climb and crawl all over the boys. What fun!!

3 Weeks Old

Here we are at 3 weeks old! After many escapes from the whelping bed, we have moved out to the indoor kennel in the shop where we have lots of room to move around and other dogs to see and hear and smell. We are still too little to play with the big dogs, but we are starting to play with each other. We also discovered Mom's food bowl with the canned food in it (Mom eats like a horse). Several of us have tried out her food. Poor Blaze got all the way into the bowl and was too scared to get back out and had to be rescued — she was covered with food and everyone had a good time licking it off of her.

2 Weeks Old

Here we are at 2 weeks old — eyes are just starting to open, and we can really move around now.
